We are very lucky here at Perth Central Caravan Park. Located just 7km away from the city, Swan valley is only 10 minutes away, the airport is convenient AND we are next to the river. We thought we would share our favourite things to experience near our park.
Swan Valley – there are so many places to eat, drink and be merry. Swan Valley has places any occasion so it doesn’t matter if you are planning a buck’s night, a family day out or a romantic dinner for two, you will find it all here. Swan Valley really is worth the visit. Even the drive out there, past Guildford is so lovely. The rolling hills, the farms, the vineyards, the fresh air. You won’t believe you are 30 minutes away from a major city. Did you know that Swan Valley is Australia’s second oldest wine region?
Swan River – is a two minute walk from the park. The river separates the North and South of the city You can canoe, go fishing or even better, you can rent a bike from the park and explore around the river further. If you are visiting our park with your four legged friend, this is a great place to walk your dog. Garvey park is just up the river and is a great place to have a coffee and watch the world go past.
Perth city is a short drive or easy bus ride away. There is so much to see and do in the city. Make sure you have a wonder around Elizabeth Quay and don’t forget to enjoy the view from Kings Park. The city is undergoing some major changes which includes the new addition of Yagan Square. There are some great places to eat and drink at Yagan Square and in between the city and Northbridge for those that are looking for more watering holes and China Town. The hop on – hop off bus takes you out to OPTUS stadium where you can take a tour of this awesome new stadium.
